Your kit contains six two ounce tins of (2) black tea, cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamom pods and star anise.
In a pot combine 1 cinnamon stick, 1-2 cloves, 2-3 cardamom pods and 1 star anise. Lightly crush with a heavy spoon or mallet. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Partially cover pan and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add two teaspoons of loose tea and steep for 5 minutes. Now you may add sugar and milk as desired. Once sugar has dissolved in the hot tea, strain into a teapot or directly into teacups. Serve hot and enjoy!
